Total production – 7 barriques/350 six packs and in the technical specs, winemaker PJ Charteris notes that there was “A shit load of hand plunging”.

Aromatic fresh mountain herbs, red cherries, ozone, subtle cinnamon spice oak – perfume and finesse. Attacks with ripe red cherry and raspberry fruit, tempered by judicious use of stalks lending tender bitterness along with gentle regional earthiness. Fine emery board tannin, balanced acidity and pleasing length round out a lovely wine. Fluid fluid and a little bit sexy too. Cellar for latent complexity or go now for juicy drinkability – either way it’s a winner.  I drank it now, of course.
